During the shipping process your tutu will likely flatten in the box. This is easily fixed once you take it out of the package. Flip your tutu upside down and comb through the layers of tulle to straighten. Then flip the tutu right side up and repeat. After you have combed through the layers, pull them apart to create volume. Shake and enjoy! Re-fluff as needed for pictures, parties, or after play.
Storing your Tutu:
Although tutus will not wrinkle easily, if they are stored crumpled or cramped they will. You can hang your tutu in a warm bathroom while running a hot shower for about 10 minutes to get out any stubborn wrinkles, or you can use a steamer. Avoid prolonged time lapse for these measures as the tutu can wilt and in rare cases melt under extreme heat (for this reason, we encourage you to avoid an open flame while in your tutu) Your tutu will sit nicely on a hangar and a cool dry space is perfect for storage.
Washing your Tutu:
We think actually being able to PLAY in your tutu is important so if you get something on it, don't fret! Spot clean the area that is soiled with some soap and warm water, then hang to dry. Do not put the tutu through the washer or dryer.
